Some birthmarks are from extra pigment in the skin but some other are blood vessels that are bunched together or don't grow normally. It is not clear why some children have birthmarks and some don't. How is it spread?Some birthmarks can be spread by an inherited gene.

SymptomsPigmented birthmarks, aside from their coloration, cause no symptoms. Vascular birthmarks of certain types can produce significant symptoms. Cures/TreatmentsYou can get a birthmark surgically removed or get a laser surgery. The only effects with that is redness and slight swelling after it.
